UNILINK Education (this site, unilink.co) respects the privacy of every visitor. This page describes — in plain language — the information we collect, how we use it, where we store it, and what rights you have.

In one line

This is a purely static information website. We do not require you to register, we do not actively collect names / phone numbers / ID documents through the site, and we do not run advertising trackers. The only personal information we collect happens when you voluntarily contact us by email or WeChat to ask about our study-abroad services.

1. Things we do not do

• Require account registration or login
• Collect personal details via on-page forms (there are none)
• Run Google Ads / Facebook Pixel / other ad-tracking scripts
• Sell any visitor data to third parties

2. Information we may collect

2.1 Server logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages / Cloudflare CDN. For security and performance monitoring, Cloudflare automatically records the following anonymous technical information:

• Access time
• Your IP address (used only for DDoS defence and country-level traffic statistics)
• Browser type and version
• URL of the page requested

These logs are retained by Cloudflare under its own privacy policy. UNILINK does not keep a separate copy.

2.2 Voluntary contact information

When you reach out via enquiry@unilink.co, our WeChat channel, or our official social accounts, we may collect:

• Your name or preferred nickname
• Contact details (email, phone, WeChat)
• Your study-abroad intentions (target country, subject, grades)

This information is used only to:

• Respond to your enquiry
• Prepare a free study-abroad assessment for you
• With your written consent, submit applications to partner universities on your behalf

We will not:

• Sell your information to third parties
• Use it for non-study-abroad commercial advertising
• Share it with any institution outside your target universities without your explicit consent

3. Cookies

The site uses a minimal set of cookies:

• Theme preference cookie — remembers whether you selected light or dark mode
• Cloudflare security cookies — bot and DDoS mitigation

No advertising or analytics cookies are used.

4. Where your data is stored

• Site code and static files: Cloudflare’s global CDN
• Enquiry emails: UNILINK corporate mail servers (Alibaba Cloud / Tencent Enterprise Email)
• Applicant files: UNILINK internal CRM, accessible only to MARA-licensed consultants

5. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the information we hold about you (email request)
• Correct inaccurate personal details
• Delete your enquiry records and application files — on written request we will remove them within 30 days (records already submitted to an institution cannot be recalled)

6. Minors

This site is written for readers aged 16 and older. K-12 enquiries for minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. UNILINK does not collect personal details from under-18s without parental involvement.

7. Cross-border data transfer

Study-abroad services inherently require the transfer of applicant documents to overseas universities (e.g. in Australia or the UK), so your materials will be transferred across borders. UNILINK applies reasonable technical safeguards (TLS in transit, encryption at rest, role-based access control) but cannot guarantee that a receiving institution’s handling will match the laws of your home jurisdiction. By instructing us to submit an application, you acknowledge and consent to this transfer.

8. Updates to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page and, where appropriate, by email to active clients.
